**UTILITY** FL Mod Manager v1.2 (and some mods)

This thread was used for FLMM v1.2 and older versions. It has now moved to a new, uncluttered thread: http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/forum/topic.asp?Topic_ID=30210&Forum_ID=32

Wow! this looks better everytime I see it, Everything works. But their seems to be a problem with the realistic mod it loads up without a hitch, but when you get in the game there is a spot open for it but there is no selection for it. I don't believe its your install program but rather an ini file thats missing something. =)

It should be fixed now. I forgot to change a line when I made the script for that mod

If it is going to change a file (by decompressing, modifying, or overwriting), it backups the file to filename+".flmmbak", in the same directory. It only restores the files if you specifically tell it to (deactivating a mod doesn't need to, unless it completely overwrote a file).

If you have any more questions, ask away! I'll be submitting this to the "editing utilities" list as soon as I add the auto-installing and documentation.

ok you say it can only activate one mod at a time, does this mean you can only have one mod at a time active, or u just need to go down the list of mods in the window activating them as you go?

btw THANK YOU for this program

Only one mod total can be activated at any one time. That will change in the future

Thanks!

I tried to make a script for the Rheinland gunship (with the code given in another thread) and I've come up against a problem. I need to add code in market_misc.ini under a certain section. The standard append mehod just adds it to the end of the file. Is there some special method for appending to a certain section?

here is what I've made so far

Use method "sectionreplace", and put the following tags under it:
[section
The section header, can be more than one line
[/section
[dest
The line(s) you want to change
[/dest
[source
The line(s) to change the dest lines to
[/source
Repeat dest and source for every non-continuous group of lines under that section (if you need to).

Look at the mod scripts included in the beta for examples on this.

(they really need to fix the closing bracket problem!)

Hey the link isn't working.

Hmm, my web server is blocking the download of *.exe files...I guess I'll just switch to my ftp server for now.

I was able to download it but you forgot to remove the "http://" part =)

I tried running it but I get
"This application has failed to start because MSVCR70.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Tried re-installing still no luck, looked into the folders and I couldn't find a file called MSVCR70.dll.
