Hi. I've got some questions about evochron.
I've downloaded the demo, and now have something to ask:
I've read the game is modable, so,
can the missile range be increased(say, to 8-10k)?
Velocity and range of guns, can it be modified somehow?
What are the difference between SP and MP(it's said they ALMOST don't differ)?
What is the actual speed of your ship? It states "1020", but i guess this means 102m/s? And thruster gives you >400m/s, not 4k?
After I bought an engine, which characteristics were 2 times greater, than the one I sold, actual speed was "1060", ?
So, what's the maximum speed, and can it be modified?
So what can be moded in the game in general? And if something can't be moded, will the developer agree to implement some features or help implement some features?
A few words about capships, their destruction, stations destruction?
About looting, only cargo or guns too?
Destructible components of ships, is it there?
This, though I am not impressed with missiles and guns range, seems to be a very good(if not say more) game anyway, why such a lack of attention here?

No, I think not. Could be available on request.

Their name can be modded, I'm not fully aware of range and velocity changes. I think they could be available on request.

You cannot hire fleet members during MP. Your savegame is shared between SP and MP. That's about all as far as I'm aware - I've noticed no other differences.

1020 units. Check out the demo to see what speeds you're moving at relative to any nearby planet. Someone figured out the actual speed on the forums, you could ask there.

Take into account further modifications to your ship. The heavier your ship, contents and cargo, the stronger your engine needs to be.

First one: yes, definitely - even for certain contracts. You can also take contracts to spy on them and they will resist heavily. Capships are floating safety beacons or dangers and definitely tough preys unless with a big fleet or 3+ person group in MP when new.

Cargo. You can loot guns, missiles and special weapons ect. from hidden cannisters.

Destructible components of ships, is it there?
Yes, engine NAVigation systems, ENGine components and WEApons systems.

Because we've had a lack of questions. LR seems to be unwilling to promote much of Evochrons updates and this resulted in a lack of posting on these forums. Therefore I'd like to point you to www.starwraith.com/forums/index.php for further questions!

And about wingmen: is it going to be implemented into MP?
It would be nice also to make ships in all the systems the same(meaning here they have to be the same toughness, not like in vanilla freelancer, where ships in New-York suck).

In general, what are the developer's plans for evochron enhancement??

Not that I'm aware of. Players can team up in clans, though.

It would be nice also to make ships in all the systems the same(meaning here they have to be the same toughness, not like in vanilla freelancer, where ships in New-York suck).
Depending on the economy and dangers in a system, you'll find better equipped ships in well-established colonies and danger zones. You'd do better to keep your head a bit low in the safe systems around Sapphire.

In general, what are the developer's plans for evochron enhancement??
Planet enhancements with vegetation or water are being discussed. Whatever is a lot of feedback on will be considered. Last updates include radio chatter in Single Player, station upgrades with names and similar and more.
