Mod Questions

Where do you put the mod files in the Freelancer Folder? Do you save the files in the DATA folder, the EXE folder? Please tell me.

Once you've downloaded FLMM, you'll find that all mod files have a .flmod extension. Simply double click on this and FLMM will automatically unpack the mod files to the appropriate place. Then all you have to do is turn them on and off from the main program.

Recruit Xuande17

There is a readme file that pops out when expand the main program that might help explain some things. It's pretty well written.

the criminal mod I downloaded has a readme but it doesn't say much
I'm used to call of duty downloads where you put everything in the Main folder

To use the MOD's you need to use the Freelancer Mod Manager to install and activate/deactivate the MOD you want to use...It says that on almost every download page.

You can of coarse remove the flmod extension and then unzip the files to your Freelancer folder but you would have to reinstall Freelancer every time you change mods or just want to run plain Freelancer without any mod running...

If your still having trouble make another post with the problem and someone should be able to come up with the answer...
