Version 2.29 problems.

Alright so maybe I am just stupid. I did all of the things I was supposed to according to the advisories (fresh install, delete saved games, etc.) I still can't gert the new version to run. When I go to multi-player I can't connect to the server and I freeze. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate the assist.
Thanks.

We can try...

When you say "Version 2.29 problems" I take it you're referring to
Evolutions 2.29 Nomad Revenge II CLIENT VERSION by the Nomad Revenge Team.

I also assume you're trying to play online...so using the client version is ok.

If you're trying to connect to your own server using the flserver.exe program are you using Evolutions 2.29 Nomad Revenge II SERVER VERSION by the Nomad Revenge Team?

Try reinstalling Freelancer again.
But make sure after you uninstall Freelancer that there are no files in the Freelancer folder after the uninstall.
C"\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer
Check the Freelancer folder and make sure all the files have been deleted. If not delete them.

After you reinstall Freelancer
Install the Freelancer SDK v1.3

Then activate the MOD.

It sounds like you need to re-permission your firewall for the changed exe version number - most firewalls will detect a change in number (1 to 2.29) and ask for some approval before granting it access. The freeze sounds vooory much like this to me.

Hope that helps
