New Bases. etc. after Missions

Can you have it so it only puts a base there or something after the storyline? Like you could have the Osiris in New York after the storyline...

Actually...believe this or not..

I've taken the Osiris (removed the cloak) and placed it in practically all the story line areas it was during the story line. (except New York where I placed it about 10K above plane) Each one is it's own base and leaves the story line Osiris alone.
HOWEVER! I don't think I'll ever be able to play the story line again since it would probably cause a serious conflict (and crash) . So I've been testing this out in Open Single Player and hope to get this to cross over to Multiplayer.
So far, it's just peachy.
