Liberty Dreadnought Weapon Hardpoint Problems

I am having trouble adding more turret hardpoints to the Liberty Dreadnought. I want to add 20 class 10 turret hardpoints (I am using ShipScripter by Crabtree CCN). But when i activate the mod and buy the ship, there are NO hardpoints in the Liberty Dreadnought.

Somebody please help.

Er, show us your loadout and make sure it's in the loadouts_special.ini if it's an NPC ship or in the normal loadouts.ini if it's flyable

hardpoints are not added by a ship scripter... they are added by milkshape or hardcmp

Yea, it is. I added like 30 hardpoints to the Titan ship before using shipscripter. ANd i did not use Milkshape 3D in any way (I don't even know how to use that stupid software anyway).

So, explain that?

SWAT is quite right, the two programs he mentions are the way to physically add the hardpoint to the model. Once defined, you then have to modify the loadout to assign a weapon or whatever to the new hardpoint otherwise it won't work. So explain that lol

Look, i am a noob at modding. I learnt a lot from And too bad that forum closed down.

But, how come i added like 30 hardpoints to the Titan using Crabtree's ShipScripter v1.2.1 without changing the hardpoints?

Please help,

LMAO, i run that forum you say that closed down and i assure you it is very much alive, don't know where you got the fact it's closed down from. Gizmo Studios has been running for ages.

As to the ship scripter issue, i don't use it but sounds to me like it's just added loadouts and not adjusted the model in anyway, probably why they are not showing up.

What i meant by closed down is that there isn't much activity on it.

But it's true. I did not add any more hardpoints for the guns/turrets. Besides when i added like 30 more hardpoints to the Titan, i ran the mod. Bought it off Planet Manhatten for 100 credits. Then went out into space, and there were all these guns on the wings and the bottom of the ship.

Maybe the program just used the light hardpoints and recoded them as weapon hardpoints?

Download HardCMP and you can add some hardpoints with it. It's really the easiest way to do it.

I just downloaded HardCMP, but i have no idea how to use it. It has no tutorial or anything. All it had was keycodes.

If you could write a tutorial that would be great.

Maybe because they're all piled up on top of each other, eh?

If you want extra guns to show up, you're going to have to make new hardpoints.
Then, they have to be referenced in the shiparch.ini and loadouts.ini.
That means using the cmp editor to install new hardpoints.
