#1 could you add in Eagle 5 from spaceballs it's just so awesome!
#2 what would the visual effects be on the high-level liberty weapons? in my opinion they should be like miniature versions of the lib-cruiser forward gun. and the high level LR weapons should be the same but in red.
#3 since the speeds of ships can be so varied now with improved engines and what not, i think that there should be a new race system in sirius. not much but better than the hovis race. i'm gunna try makin one with the FL explorer. if you want it, email me at stimpy986@yahoo.com

Hmm...Spaceball1 is a little too hard to model...btw are you refering to the spaceship shape ar the maid shape?!
Perhaps I'll add the SSD Executor if I can get permission from its creator...

I posted a reaction in the forum for rebalance 3.30, but i don't know if it was noticed by the creators of rebalance.
1) In all the rebalance mods i've played, the fusion injector mark IV seems better then the fusion injector Mark V.. If I look at the stats of each injector the Mark IV regenerates more power then the Mark V

2) In SP i don't get the chance to do some exploring and some missions between the missons of the story line. It makes it difficult to buy a better ship because the ships in the NY system are pretty exspensive. I recommend to change the ammount of money needed for a levelup.

3) It's just an idea, but if cap-ship prices cannot go above the 10 milion, maybe all the prices for ships, equipment and missionsrewards should be devided by 2 or something like that.

4) I hope there will still be a light fighter capable of mounting class 10 guns and shields, because i really liked that one

Hi All!

a few things i would like to see are: the Achillies class starship, the enterprise NX-01 (aka Archers Enterprise) as promised but not delivered, maybe the Peregrine fighter from wts, some other ships from ST *Dodges thrown vegetables* I'm A Trekkie, Sue me!

a jumpgate/hole from ea -> New york (maybe change from texas to NY)

Eagle 5 would be a good idea

a good old fashion saucer shaped ship would be nice too

the new epsilon mod has levels up to 100 so maybe you could ask them how they did it

would it be possible to have visual damage (carbon scaring from weapons impacts) dents from asteroid colisions... and have the dents affect how much cargo the ship can carry

also make the asteroid fields in the omicron systems like the NY badlands
but only for anything bigger than the naginata (moving when hit, etc...)

That's quite a good idea, battlescars are awesome, not necesarily to look old and decreped but to look like ur ship's been through alot. also once again the Eagle 5.
it should be a light frieghter w/ 2 lv8 guns and 1 lv8 turret, i know this might be dificult but for realism, try to make the cruise engines come out the back.
and each of the main engines should have 2 flares each. bretonia style. and a built in radar jammer but the ejection must be red and gooey. a little more cargo space than the rhino, but similar handling

Is the battle scarring possibbe on custom ships? If it was I'd say we would have seen it now surely? Be cool though... Even more fun would be an abilty to custom your ship with colour or something... But again that's grassroot code I guess.

If you are talking about making a ship's hull, say, dark red with bright blue stripes, that is possible... All you have to do is make a texture in PhotoShop or Picture Publisher and make it a .tga that you can apply to your custom model in Milkshape (or other modelling programs). I think that's all there is to it.
Or are you talking about something more complicated than that?

what would i like to see????? in brief..... the monkeys and order play a bigger part ...ie more missions in the monkey system {none that i know of at the moment} hunting nomads for loot or there weapons or a new bader faction a few missions on the zoner base .in the outcast system more fighter/frighter ships maybe a good lanehacker {with punch for bringing down those trade lines} for the corsaier/outcast . a couple of harder systems with hidden wreaks/bases {sort of like that bit of blasted space in the texas on the left side dark and dangerous so u do not know what round the next corner} .do away with rocket missles add better torp and cluster missles add .a few escort missions like at the very start of the game add a few million cred wreaks with nomad or other alien power plants or weapons which can be only sold at one place and have everyone hunting u till u sell it or mount it on your ship as the case maybe more bountyhunter ships a few more class 6 to 9 class ship with double torp mounts. less class 10 ships make them harder to get and find spread them out more better loot and harder trade routes with more profit for those willing to try .or die!!

I agree about the starting ship, whats the point in having one of the best ships in the game at the very start? I joined a server the other day and they gave u 5 million credits to start with and I just thought whats the point?
By the way, there is a bit of a helpfull bug with the repair-turrets, nomad lasers, front cruiser watsits and large miner guns.. they can be mounted to any ship as they have no weapon class. So u cud have about 6 nomad lasers on a starblazer(as they can go onto gun mounts, turrets and cruise slots), they do 1200hullx2 and require no energy.. hmm..
But the front cruiser whatsits have to b changed, they`re far too hard and u can buy them in the texas border station thats been added practically nothing.
The mods good though don`t get me wrong, its what I wanted freelancer 2 b like in the first place. Now cud it be possible to hide ships at secret locations what are elite, so for example, the very best light fighter cud be salvaged for practcally no cash and b used.. but, are not commonly available. We all want to have not just a good one but, one completely set apart from the rest. They cud even be respawning like the class10`s on some servers.
Just an idea, keep up the good work.

Yeah I mentioned that turrent one before but no ones all that excited about it, can make ya first few ships very powerfull as long as you don't get hit... The lack of power drain is a problem too maybe? Anyhow they're always the first weapons I mount on my early ships!
