Could someone make a tutorial on how to change the UI colors? Would be cool.

that WOULD be interesting..

was just lookin around and i may have found something

i'll do some tests, but im pretty sure its right

go to your data\interface folder and find the hud.ini file
should see a tab that looks something like this:

radius = 40
range = 200
color = 255, 255, 0, 255
size = 6

thats the ONLY color tab i see in any of the files that could have anything to do with the UI color, but it doesnt really make sense since 255, 255, 255 is white

and there are FOUR number sets there.....

ok. now im stumped too.

could someone else take over? ^^;; or am i in the right track?

I'm taking a wild guess here that the reason you see 4 sets of numbers is that one of them might be the transparency?

I've done it and its not easy -> frankly the interface files are a mess, with a lot of them not even used... finding the particular element you're looking to change is not straightforward and transforming the entire thing is not possible in a couple hours unless you already know what to do. seeing as how its not a very rewarding area of modding and I am working on a new interface myself I don't see any reason to write a tutorial for you - but if you'll wait patiently I'll be posting my own freebie mod with the interface fixes described soon and you can use it for your mod if you like it
