What are the first three engine effects in your post above? They look pretty cool.

first image is a rheinland engine but with nomad effects(edited the .ale).The liberty ship in the background has a liberty engine but the flame is blue (0, 0, 255).and the purple one is custom: edited bretonian flame,with nomad engine trail.

The ??? should be less than the atmosphere_range but more than the planet size in this case between 2010 - 2140, with yours you'll be dead before you here the warning.

thx...i just need to find what the hell is crashing the game while entering that system...tried scanning with FL Scan ALL files and still can't find the problem

i made the same mistake when i added the sun's death zone.fixed both the planet and the sun,and now the system works,no more crashes.thanks very much

i was wondering... what are exclusion zones,what do they do and why are they needed?

also,how can starsphere.cmp files be edited?

exclusion zone i think (im still a amature system creator at best) are to do with areas of say, a nebula field where you want there to be a hole (a clean air pocket or similar) like where you see planets inside a nebula field and the space around it is clear a good example of this is Kurie in sigma 17
