haven't you read one thing i just wrote, here it is again
just copy this onto the original hold size line
hold_size = 700000

Ok so I open the rtc_shiparch.ini file using the BINI prog and this is what I get.

nickname = PlayerShip
LODranges = 0, 50, 100, 300, 600, 1000, 2500
DA_archetype = ships\liberty\li_freighter\li_freighter.cmp
material_library = ships\liberty\li_playerships.mat
type = FIGHTER

every ship is listed like this, no hold size etc etc BINI won't / can't open the files listed in the DA_archtype or material_ library.

Do I just add the line in or what???

when i save it it says " Run Time Error '75': the specified path/file name cannot be acessed or is invalid"

i don t know what the heck that means,

ok i loaded the shiparch file with BiniQDU,
went to the titan part of the document,
and went to the "hold_size = 70" part ,
now do i just delete the part that says "70" and type the new one in, or just enter more 0's, or delete it and type it in

when u are editing the ini files you just change the number to
whatever u think is apropriate ie delete the number or change it

hp_type = hp_gun_special_6 (this is the weapon class), HpWeapon01, HpWeapon02, HpWeapon03 (these are the hardpoints capable of fitting that class)

hp_type = hp_gun_special_3, HpWeapon01 (=hp1 can use class3 gun)
hp_type = hp_gun_special_2, HpWeapon01 (=hp1 can use class2 gun)
hp_type = hp_gun_special_1, HpWeapon01 (=hp1 can use class1 gun)
hope this solves your edit-nooby-questions :p
edit:this is in SHIPARCH and not RTC_SHIPARCH (or something)

Where are the values to change the amount of energy your ship has? as in when you fire your wepons so it doesn't drain so fast...
