I've just gone back to FLMM 1.3 as 1.4 beta 4 is far to much of a pain in the arse to continue to use. Tonight is the fourth time THIS month that I've had to uninstall/reinstall freelancer to get rid of all of the crap beta 4 leaves behind, every custom file from a large mod is left behind in the FL directory rather than being deleted. I think it might be this "cache" feature that's screwing up everything, it's probably overriding the delete function.

My advice to everyone is to stick with the older FLMM 1.31 as it's more stable than FLMM 1.4, at least until Matt gets it fixed.

Only things in the cache folder are left in the FL install, and they are deleted when you use the clear cache function.

Metal Heart, did you install the full game? If u ve installed server files only. This MOD will not work because the file pi_pirate5_head doesn´t exist.

I used the fix that IGx89 posted but now i´m having this error

Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.70 Client Edition'
Error: SHCopyFile failed ('D:\Juegos\Freelancer\DATA\characters\bodies\li_hatcher_body.dfm.flmmbak' to 'D:\Juegos\Freelancer\DATA\characters\bodies\_li_hatcher_body.dfm')

Coud u help me? Thank You

1. use a clean installation of FL (no SDK - no other previous installed mods)
2. use FLMM 1.31 (FLMM 1.4 does not work)
more is not required
