TroubleShooting

I've installed FLMM over my Freelancer v1.0 Server install.

But when I go to FLMM, and activate one of the mods there, they Don't work in game. For example : I start FLMM -> activate the Speed Mod (wich came with FLMM) -> I click on Start FLServer.exe -> FLMM shutsdown -> FLServer starts, and works properly, but the mod just isn't there. :S

Why ????????

(my freelancer isn't installed @ standard location ?, is that a problem ?)

After you activate that mod, is there a constants.ini.flmmbak file in the DATA folder under your Freelancer directory? If not, then FLMM probably doesn't have the correct location for Freelancer. Load FLMM and go to "Options/Choose Different Freelancer Directory" to locate the correct directory, and see if it works then.

I'm having a problem with that too.. 3 mods are activated when i started it up...
so I can't change directory until they are deactivated, and I can't deactivate them..


and the directory is stuck on Freelancer Trial on the C drive, whereas I now have the full version on D and Trial has been uninstalled...

I'm pretty sure all previous copies of FLMM were deleted
