Encryption/Decryption of files

With the new FLCD (Cheat detection) coming soon, I have to know this.

Hypothetical situation:

I install FL
I install FLMM
I activate the Victor Mod
I close FL
I deactivate Victor Mod
I start FL
I start an MP session

Are my INI's decrypted again, especially the ones Victor Mod changed?

Unless something goes wrong, all the files should be back to their original, encrypted state when the mod is deactivated. To make sure, you can do "Tools/Restore Backups", which searches for any original files that didn't get restored, and restores them. You shouldn't have to do that though; FLMM should properly restore all the files when a mod is deactivated. If it doesn't, please report the details to me.

Hi,

any queations answered ?

The FLMM makes nearly no mistakes (i have never one, but i play not a lot of Mods) but i heard that some old Versions leave Files after deinstalling Mods. But the Restore backups Function should help ;-)

A bug in FLMM v1.21 beta 8?-10 caused a few mods to leave files behind, but beta 11 *should* clean up perfectly .

@Niwo

Nope, i'm completely satisfied. Sorry for doubting you :-) I just didn't want to get banned for doing nothing wrong.

(sorry for the late reply, been very busy)
